What Makes It Special?
This building played a pivotal role in the history of UNAM. Today, it houses exhibitions on the struggle for university autonomy and the history of higher education in Mexico.

Did You Know…?
The law granting autonomy to the National University was signed here in 1929. Historical documents and original furniture from the old campus are also preserved here.

In addition to the museum, you can visit the UNAM Foundation Cultural Center, which offers free or low-cost artistic activities, concerts, and workshops.
