Housed in an historic 18th-century building, this museum is dedicated to highlighting and celebrating the cultural richness of Mexico’s indigenous peoples. Its exhibitions showcase crafts, textiles, traditions, and worldviews that remain alive throughout the country.

Did You Know…?

The Old Customs House in Peralvillo was one of the first customs checkpoints for goods arriving in the capital from the northern part of the country. Today, its colonial architecture houses one of the INPI’s most important venues for promoting indigenous culture.
