It is the only venue of its kind dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Mexican sugar art, a little-known artisanal tradition that transforms sugar into decorative and religious figures, such as the iconic Day of the Dead skulls.

The museum houses more than 200 pieces made entirely of sugar, crafted using traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation, ranging from small sugar cookies to highly detailed sculptures.
