What Makes It Special?

The museum's collection includes numerous artifacts from ancient and colonial times. These range from archaeological finds to pottery, weapons, everyday objects, and photographs. Together, they provide a record of many centuries of life in Tláhuac.

Did You Know…?

The Cuitláhuac Regional Community Museum opened in 2002. It was named after Cuitláhuac, a Tlatoani—or ruler—of the Mexica who died of smallpox during the war with the Spanish. The name is derived from the place name “Tláhuac.”

Tláhuac (Golden Line 12) + Public transportation to downtown Tláhuac

Downtown Tláhuac – 4-minute walk

Take Tláhuac Avenue toward Chalco. The museum is located at 63 Calzada Tláhuac-Chalco, near downtown Tláhuac.
