Located in the historic main building of the Bank of Mexico, this museum blends Art Deco design, monetary history, and Mexican art into a surprisingly entertaining experience.

Did You Know…?

The building was inaugurated in 1925 and was designed by Carlos Obregón Santacilia. Inside, it houses works by artists such as José Clemente Orozco and Diego Rivera.

Don’t Miss

There is a royal vault containing gold bars and vintage banknotes. Plus, their interactive app lets you “design your own banknote.” Admission is free, but you must register online in advance.
