What Makes It Special?

It is the first museum in the Americas dedicated exclusively to watercolor art. Its galleries and gardens are filled with light, color, and tranquility. A place to contemplate and reconnect with the beauty found in simplicity.

Did You Know…?

It was founded in 1967 by Alfredo Guati Rojo, a pioneer in the teaching and promotion of watercolor painting in Mexico. The museum also serves as a school and gallery, hosting rotating exhibitions by national and international artists.
