What Makes It Special?

The Xaltilolli Center (“the heart of the sand” in Nahuatl) is a cultural and educational project that seeks to reinterpret Tlatelolco’s past from a community-based, Indigenous, and multidisciplinary perspective. It addresses topics such as worldview, resistance, and heritage.

In addition to content on the Conquest of Tlatelolco, this space features workshops, guided tours, ball games, and hands-on activities. It serves as a bridge between the neighborhood’s urban present and its ancestral past.
