What Makes It Special?

It is a space of living memory that honors the victims of October 2, 1968, and other social movements. Here, history is not presented as the past, but as a reminder and a call to never forget.

Did You Know…?

The Memorial is located in the very same building from which the crackdown on the students was ordered. The exhibition spaces feature actual archival materials, video testimonies, personal belongings, and immersive settings that draw visitors into the experience.

The tour can be emotionally intense. Make sure to arrive with plenty of time and an open mind. At the end, there’s a space where you can write, listen, or simply sit in silence.
