What Makes It Special?

It is a cultural space located in Tezozómoc Park that blends local archaeology (such as mammoths and historical artifacts) with contemporary 3D art (sculpture, installation, and object art) in a themed exhibition that resembles an anthill.

Did You Know…?

Azcapotzalco was an important chiefdom before the arrival of the Mexica. The museum displays artifacts from excavations conducted by Manuel Gamio, including pottery, ear ornaments, and a mammoth molar.
