What Makes It Special?

The Spanish filmmaker Luis Buñuel, a key figure in Surrealism and a master of Ibero-American cinema, lived in this house for more than 30 years. Today, it is a space that honors his legacy and promotes film culture in Mexico and the Spanish-speaking world.

In addition to preserving personal belongings, scripts, photographs, and original furniture, this house is now home to the Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences, making it a hub for Ibero-American cinema.
