What Makes It Special?

It is a work of art in itself. El Eco is not a conventional museum, but a laboratory for living art, architecture, and performance. Each exhibition transforms the space and challenges traditional ways of seeing.

Did You Know…?

It was designed in 1953 by German artist Mathias Goeritz, a pioneer of the “emotional space” concept in Mexico. Today it is managed by UNAM and retains its spirit of total experimentation.
