What Makes It Special?

It is the country's most important public space dedicated to photography in all its forms: artistic, documentary, experimental, and archival. It is located in the beautiful neoclassical building of the Ciudadela.

Did You Know…?

It opened in 1994 and has since hosted the Photography Biennial, exhibitions by national and international artists, installations, workshops, and visual arts labs. It is part of the Ministry of Culture’s museum system.
